As my constituent you may be asking, how do you plan to make a difference in the 6th Ward? Well simply put, you can’t fix what you won’t face. The current administration has failed to address the ongoing issues in our community. Our crime rates are rising, are school performance is diminishing and our business community is made up of liquor stores and low-quality fast food restaurants. But I see a brighter side to our community. One that is rich in resources and people. The 6th Ward has a growing entrepreneurship base, working families and youth with a bright future, our community needs to reflect that. We need to build an attractive community where families are ready to move into the 6th Ward not run out. I am optimistic about what we can do if we come together to turn our community around, but it will take the right type of leadership to get this done.
